J/ψ near threshold in holographic QCD: A and D gravitational form factors

Dr. Kiminad Mamo

The diffractive photoproduction of J/Ψ on a nucleon is mostly due to gluonic exchanges at all s. In holographic QCD (large number of colors and strong  ′t Hooft coupling), these exchanges are captured by the t-channel 0++ and 2++ glueball resonances near threshold, and their reggeized form (Pomeron) asymptotically. Using Witten diagrams in a confining AdS background, we derive the holographic scattering amplitude for the near threshold photoproduction of J/Ψ, and show that it explicitely depends on gluonic A and D gravitational form factors of proton. We also discuss the recent succesful experimental extraction of the gluonic gravitational form factor of proton, using our holographic scattering amplitude, at Jefferson Lab.
